Item resources can be created either individually or in bulk, and both methods are explained in this article. Information on support for different file types and best practices for using images can be found in this article.
Creating a single resource

Navigate the resources tab and + Create new resource

Fill out the relevant information and click Save
- Number: This is the index number for the resource. The system will auto-generate this based on the next sequential number available, but it can be overwritten should you wish to input an existing reference number.
- Name: This is the title of the resource. It will display to examiners and marshals.
- Caption: An additional caption field which is available to candidates in the browser application.
- Comments: Comments are optional, but can be used to record further information. This has no impact anywhere else in the system.
- Consent not applicable: The system gives the option to record that consent to use a file has been obtained. If consent is not required, tick this box.
- Consent form: If consent is required and has been obtained, you can upload a consent record here.
- Declaration: Finally check the box to confirm that consent has been correctly obtained and recorded.
Creating multiple resources in bulk

Navigate to the Resources tab, click + Create multiple resources

Step 2 of 2
Drag and drop multiple files into the box for upload. Once uploaded they can then be edited individually in the resource index.
