Once you've published the exam, if any modifications need to be made to the exam setup, you will need to reset the exam.
Be cautious when resetting exams as this action will delete all data that may have been captured while the exam was published, including during delivery activities, except for the number downloads if previously set.
To reset the exam:
-
Step 1 of 3
Navigate to the exam's view sessions screen, locate and click the Reset exam day button.
-
Step 2 of 3
After clicking reset exam day, a popup will appear to prompt for your confirmation by entering the administrator secret code.
If you don't know this information or wish to modify the secret code, please submit a service desk ticket.
Enter the Administrator secret code and click Reset exam day.
This will remove all results and marks entered for this exam. It will not be possible to revert the action.
-
Step 3 of 3
Once the exam is reset, the exam status will change from IN PROGRESS to IN PREPARATION. At this point, you can make the necessary changes required before publishing the exam again. Any past activity including the reset of an exam can be viewed in the exam history.
Resetting the exam does not reset the number of downloads. If you previously increased the number of downloads for candidate(s), you no longer need to set the downloads again.
