The combined exam results report generates a multi-sheet spreadsheet summarising the assessment outcomes for all candidates. This can be used to assist in preparation for examination boards or similar events where examination results are reported and ratified.
Running the combined exam results report
To run the combined exam results report:

Navigate to your exam then Set standard and View reports.

Click Create new report and Combined exam results report.

Step 3 of 4
On the next screen you can (optionally) give the report a name and control how the output looks where items have been used across multiple days (either in exam blocks or for combined exams). You can either merge those blocks or keep them separate.
Click Save to commit.

To download the output click Generate Excel report, then under the dropdown arrow click Download exported as XLSX.
Report output
The export provides an excel workbook with 6 sheets. Each is described in the following sections.
The examples shown here are generated from an OSCE exam. The report can also be used for written exams and will adjust accordingly for the appropriate item types.

Shows a basic summary of the number of items and the number of candidates in the exam.
Where exam blocks or combined exams have been used, the report will also show the totals broken down per block/exam event.

This tab shows the candidate performance on each of the items in the exam. There is one candidate per row and an item attribute per column.
The example shown includes a total item score, and pass/fail indicator and the global judgment per item. For written exams only a score and a pass/fail indicator is shown.
Where exam blocks or combined exams have been used, each block or item data is appended to the right of its predecessor block.
Summary columns (not shown) include:
- Total passed items
- Total failed items
- Total items in the exam
- Pass mark for the exam
- Total raw score
- Maximum possible score (raw)
- Overall pass/fail indicator.
Any fails are highlighted in red.

This tab shows a high level summary of how the items in the exam have performed. The metrics are explained in the table below:
Metric Description Pass mark (raw score) The pass mark generated per item according to the standard setting method used (expressed as a raw score) Pass mark (%) The pass mark generated per item according to the standard setting method used (expressed as a percentage) Max station score The maximum possible score on the item (raw score) No of passes The number of candidates who have passed the item or answered correctly No of fails The number of candidates who have failed the item or answered incorrectly Total The total number of candidates in the exam Examiner global score (only OSCE) A count of the number of times each increment on the global scoring scale is selected. A separate row is shown for each possible value. Stdt min raw score The lowest score achieved by any candidate on the item (expressed as a raw score) Stdt min % score The lowest score achieved by any candidate on the item (expressed as a percentage) Stdt max raw score The highest score achieved by any candidate on the item (expressed as a raw score) Stdt max % score The highest score achieved by any candidate on the item (expressed as a percentage) Stdt avg raw score The mean candidate score on the item - essentially a facility value (expressed as a raw score) Stdt avg % score The mean candidate score on the item - essentially a facility value (expressed as a percentage) -
The station analysis tab shows the simple mean score achieved by candidates on each item in the exam as well as a composite average in the last column.
Where exam blocks or combined exams have been used (as in the image) these are listed separately allowing for comparative analysis across different exam entities.

The non-pass student summary gives details of all candidates who have bene unsuccessful in the exam.
Each candidate is presented on a separate row with several item metrics in the corresponding columns.

The exam board report tab gives a final overview of each candidate's performance and overall examination outcome.
Failing candidates are highlighted in red.
