The overall exam passing score is calculated according to the selected standard setting algorithm and any additional parameters set during the standard setting process. However, there may be circumstances in which this needs to be changed manually.
For example:
- Where your process requires you to disregard an overall passing score. You might rely on the total number of individual station passes or some dimensional criteria as the only overall passing criterion. In this example you might set the passing score to zero.
- Your standard setting process involves unique or bespoke elements that need to be conducted outside of risr/ assess before the calculated passing score is put back in.
- You want to round or otherwise perform a small manual adjustment to the calculated passing score in the system (note that some rounding options can be set as site defaults).
