Multiple true/false (MTF)

The Multiple true/false (MTF) question is another variant of the single-best answer (SBA) question, only in this format stems are presented as a series of grouped questions with preset true or false response options. The item requires a single lead in and then the number of stems is unlimited.

Question Stem: Use the free-text box to enter the answers.
Correct answer: Select if the answer is true or false.
Angoff: An Angoff rating for standard setting can be banked against the specific answer. If a value is given, this will be used if Angoff is selected as the standard-setting method.
Ebel: If Ebel standard setting is used, you can bank the difficulty and relevance values against the specific answer. Each sub-answer can have its own set of Ebel values stored.
Delete: Check this box and Save item if you wish to delete an answer you've created.

In the browser application, the MTF item appears as the question stem on the left and a series of the true/ false questions on the right. Test-takers are required to select true or false for each answer option.
